What we actually provide
Environmental duties apply to far more businesses than many people expect — how waste is stored and transferred, how fuels and chemicals are handled, how surface water and drainage are managed, and how incidents and spills are recorded and reported.
Our environmental compliance audit is a structured review of those duties as they apply to your operations. We identify where your activities create environmental risk, check the documentation and controls you rely on, and highlight where your arrangements diverge from what the applicable legislation and good practice expect.
The output is a written report with prioritised recommendations and a practical action plan. It is designed for organisations that want an honest assessment and a route forward — not a certification exercise or a binder that sits on a shelf.
What the audit covers
The scope is agreed with you in advance and reflects the activities and risks of your business.
Environmental risk identification
Review of emissions, waste, storage, drainage, noise, odour and nuisance risks arising from your activities.
Compliance position review
Your arrangements reviewed against the environmental duties that apply to your operations, with gaps identified plainly.
Waste and duty of care
How waste is classified, stored, transferred and documented, including carrier and transfer note controls.
Pollution prevention
Fuel, oil and chemical storage, bunding, spill arrangements, drainage protection and incident procedures.
Records and documentation
Review of the records you would need to show compliance if challenged by a regulator, client or insurer.
Written action plan
Prioritised, cost-aware recommendations that your team can implement in a sensible order.
Where our scope ends
To avoid ambiguity about what this service does and does not include:
- –We provide compliance review, advice and action planning — not environmental permitting or regulatory applications.
- –We do not issue ISO 14001 or other certification; certification is issued by accredited certification bodies.
- –We do not carry out environmental sampling, stack testing, effluent analysis or noise surveys.
- –If specialist testing or certification is needed, we will identify it in the report so you can appoint the right provider.
Who this is for
Organisations that need a realistic view of their environmental position and a plan they can actually deliver.
